  9. This is version 1.3 of HomeBudget.  I have not been able to reach
  10. the author, Mike Huttinger, via the email addresses listed in
  11. the .readme, and I have not tried the above snail address.  I am
  12. posting it at the request of others, since the readme does state
  13. that it is freely distributable software.  If anyone has a newer
  14. version, or the current email adresses of the author, I would
  15. appreciate hearing from you...

  17. The major features of HomeBudget:
  18.     * Electronic checkbook
  19.         -offers fast reconciliation
  20.         -tied to Budget section for budget updates
  21.     * Budget section
  22.         -uses 2 char codes for accounts
  23.         -prioritize accounts for auto payment
  24.         -optional automatic payments for fixed expenses
  25.         -reports & charts available
  26.     * Savings and other accounts can also be added
  27.  
  28. Note: There does not seem to be a check printing ability; if that's what
  29. you need try buying Phasar...
